I Got You (I Feel Good)

James Brown Music Festival, Augusta, GA

It was HOT!! Literally and onstage!

Michele turned around to see  Mr. Brown’s two sax players onstage with her and her band, playing HER songs! Keep in mind she was only on her first debut EP at this point.

The First Annual James Brown Music Festival became the last as Mr. Brown passed not long after.

Dante’s Inferno was on FIRE!

Pacific NW’s Biggest Show of the Year

14th Anniversary Show.

Not bad for the new girl in town to have been invited to  share the stage with Portland, OR. Music royalty and a sold out house.

This show lead a local promoter to book her and her band to headline this iconic Pacific NW music venue and that show lead to the next one you see here.

Thunder rolled and the Lightening Bolts

Opening for Frank Hannon (tesla), and Ron Keel

This was a big night in a down n’ dirty rock club.

Completely out of Michele’s wheelhouse as far as genres go, her band of boys were ecstatic they were invited to open up for Frank and Ron, who could not have been nicer and loved Michele’s performance.

Afterwards, local Roseland Ballroom promoters were so impressed, they invited Michele and her band to open up for Eddie Money.

Later, after all the promotion went out. that Roseland Ballroom show was cancelled. Her band felt defeated, but in true style Michele kept her eye on the mountain, kept performing and soon enough met John Ashton of The Psychedelic Furs.

And everything changed…
